Incidentally, remember to clean your place before you redesign it. You can discover some cleaning administrations here.

I simply love the vintage stylistic layout!

Old paint, pastel hues, backdrop, huge amounts of capacity thoughts and those stunning boxes where you can store fragrant cleansers, shower salts and your shoes close to the front entryway.

Going vintage is probably the best strategy to switch something up in your home and in each room!

Since we’ve moved in our bedroom has been a mess and never looked nice. This used to be the girls’ bedroom when my mom had foster kids and she had pasted these ‘antique’ dolls all over the walls that she cut from wallpaper. They were stuck like concrete and I couldn’t scrape them off so I never painted. We were still using the old dresser that my mom had for the girls and it was never enough for our stuff. The closet door took up too much room and the closet was too shallow to really hang stuff in anyway.

While I was in Chicago Stuart did a ‘while you were out’ on his own and bought some vintage dressers, a vintage chair, a vintage night stand, a new wooden shade, a new light fixture, a new comforter and shams, a few new little table lamps, a new hamper, and a flat screen tv. He picked everything out himself. We had clothes piled in laundry baskets everywhere, on the dresser, and dirty clothes piled on the floor.
He also worked his ass off scraping off all the creepy dolls. He didn’t paint because when Meg goes to college we are going to trade rooms with Ivy so he wanted to let her choose the eventual paint color.
I arranged a few more things on the dresser but he was the one who hung my prom dress up and put one of my favorite books in the crate shelf over the chair. He also hung one of our favorite late kitty’s collar with the dress.
It was such an amazing surprise to come home to. I still had to sort through a lot of clothes that I really just needed to get rid of. But he had them all neatly in the dresser and a couple of laundry baskets and I did most of it today.

We’ve wanted a flat screen tv in the bedroom for ages. This was a great surprise. The Captain America Jack-in-the-box was a birthday present for Stuart that Meg got in Chicago. He loved it.
